An-Najah National University celebrates its Silver Jubilee this year 2002. In the year 2000, Documentation, Manuscripts and Publishing Center was annexed to An-Najah University Libraries as a part of its departments.

This directory displays the master theses of An-Najah National University students from different Faculties and Departments. The first volume was published in 1999 under the title \"Directory of Abstract Theses: 1985-1999\", while this volume is published under the title \"Directory of Master Theses of An-Najah National University: 1985-2002\". It covers the period from the first thesis issued in 1985 until May 2002.

The Master Theses in this directory are classified into two groups in accordance with their language; Arabic and English. In addition, Faculties concerned, Departments of each faculty and theses titles are arranged alphabetically for reference convenience.

Each master thesis has the following descriptions:

-        Thesis title

-        author

-        supervisor or supervisors

-        date, and

-        abstract

Finally, this guide has two indexes; the first index is the author\'s index which is arranged alphabetically under the first name of the author, while the second index is the titles index also arranged alphabetically.
