  • This paper discusses the denotation of the comparative article in a smile. It tries through representation of the points of view of the old and modern researchers to state relationships between the comparative articles to the total meaning. This is to be taken in addition to the role it plays in the simile itself. Various studies have shown different roles of the comparative article in two respects:  one is it’s identity, and the second is the relationship of the comparative article to the constitutes
