البئر بوابة العالم السفلي في الشعر الجاهلي

   يحاول هذا البحث تلمس أسباب قداسة البئر وتفسير سر حضورها في المخيال الجاهلي ليس لكونها حاملة الماء الذي هو أسّ حياة العرب وأساس بقائهم وإنما من وجهها الآخر من خلال ارتباطها بالموت وعلاقتها بالروح وتراسلها مع القبر لغة وتصوراً،  باعتبارهما معاً بوابة العالم السفلي وسبيلاً للعودة الأبدية  إِلى زمن الأصول والبدايات حيث الغمر مياه الهيولي التي سيبعث منها الإنسان مرة أخرى.

Abstract

This research endeavors to uncover the causes behind the water well being holy in the imagination of Al-Jahelia (pre-Islamic era). Such a stature did not stem from being the only source of water for Arabs and their survival, but rather from its ties to death, soul and grave, and its communication with the grave verbally and non-verbally (visionally). The well was perceived as the gate to the world beneath, to death, and to the origin of the genesis, which existed from water, and from which human beings will be recreated.
