  • Prevalence of Infectious Bursal Disease in Broiler

  • The present research was conducted to investigate the prevalence incidence of the infectious bursal disease in the broiler farms in the north of the West Bank, Palestine. The research focused on this area as the hosts the majority of broiler raised in Palestine. Data and information were collected directly from farms. For diagnosis, all dead birds were examined through dissection and through examining the clinical signs in birds. The results showed that the prevalence of the disease was higher (P<0.05) in winter (14.5%) followed by spring (11.2%), autumn (7.5%) then summer (6.3%). Similar findings were observed in mortalities, which was the highest ( P< 0.05) Recommendations based on our finding were given by the study
