A high magnification Kerr magneto optic microscope and ferro fluid techniques have been used to investigate the magnetization distributions and domain patterns on 90⁰ Chevron elements, under rotating applied field conditions. Considerable magnetic interactions have been observed to exist between the magnetization levels in the orthogonal legs of the chevrons.
