In this study the researcher endeavored to trace and survey the beginnings of what is termed Resistance Literature which dates back to Ghassan Kaanafani`s usage of it in his Literary studies some thirty years ago The term since then has got more significance and meaning to the extent that it has got both national and socialist dimensions The researcher has revealed how this tern implicitly has covered the Palestinian literature before and after 1948 inside Palestine and abroad including the West Bank and the Gaza Strip This term has become synonymous with the fully -fledged term Palistenien Literature The researcher has also investigated the impact of Madrid Peace conference and Oslo agreements on the employment of the term in Palestinian Literature The researcher has found that these political moves have had no impact on the significance of the term because the circumstances behind its emergence are still around http://blogs.najah.edu/staff/emp_2115/article/article-2Published Articles Abstract Having reviewed a number of poems dealing with the topic of Saudi-Palestinian relations the researcher has found that the Palestinian poets have dealt with this theme since the mid-thirties of the twentieth century These poets hoped for the best of king Abdul-Aziz particularly when they compared his attitude with those of other Arab leaders This feeling gained strength because King Abdul-Aziz as a custodian of the two Holy Harams represented the religious leadership; and that he became a symbol of Arab Unity after he unified the Arabian Peninsula under his authority The Palestinian poets who dealt with this topic tackled two aspects: the first concerned the visits of Saudi Princes to Palestine or the visits of the poets of Palestine to Hijaz The second aspect dealt with the role of the Arab leaders among whom was king Abdul-Aziz to end the 1936 Strike in Palestine It has been noted that the political atmosphere prevailing in the poems and the discourse addressing the Saudis were in most poems friendlyhttp://blogs.najah.edu/staff/emp_2115/article/article-1Published Articlesلم تكن البلاد العربية ممزقة الأجزاء في العهود التاريخية السالفة، ولم تقم بينها الحدود والحواجز، وإنما كانت جميعها مجالا رحبا لكل الطاقات تنتقل بينها في حرية وانطلاق، بهذه الصلات المتتابعة لم يُنظر إلى فلسطين على أنها كيان مستقل عن شقيقاتها المجاورات، لكنها لم تلغ شخصيتها، وقد ظلت هذه العلاقات قائمة بين مصر وفلسطين بشكل مؤثر وعميق حتى الحرب العالمية الثانية وقيام الكيان الصهيوني، الأمر الذي حال دون استمرار اتصالهما http://blogs.najah.edu/staff/emp_2115/article/articlePublished Articlesتتبع الباحث في هذه الدراسة بدايات المسرح العربي وظهورا الأدب المسرحي، وبين أسباب إقبال الكتاب على كتابة المسرحية التاريخية، ثم تعرض إلى المصادر التي استقى منها شوقي مسرحيته الثرية الوحيدة أميرة الأندلس، وكيف زاوج فيها بين الوقائع التاريخية والقصة الخيالية وأوضح أن شوقي لم يستطع أن يخلق من شخوص مسرحيته نماذج خالدة، ولم ينجح في تصوير الصراع الداخلي الذي كان يعتمل في نفوس إبطاله؛ لذلك بقيت صورهم في كتب التاريخ أكثر وضوحا وأقوى تأثيرا، ولم يتقيد بمذهب واحد من المذاهب الفنية؛ وكان متعاطفا مع بطل مسرحيتهالمعتمد بن عباد لا لاقتناعه به، بل لكونه شاعرا قريبا إلى نفسه وفي نهاية الدراسة حاول الباحث أو يوضع الدوافع التي كانت وراء كتابة شوقي لهذه المسرحية
